Chrysalis - Research Programs
NEP and You
NEP&You is a humble initiative to bring in a discussion amongst the members of the Chrysalis family – teachers, school leaders, coordinators and even Chrysalians, on the ambitious and progressive change that is being beckoned by our education system today – The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020).
In this research, we have attempted to discuss in slightly more details, the NEP 2020 recommendations vis-a-vis the practices in our ThinkRooms.
For each recommendation, we have picked the best fit responses and displayed them here with some explanation.

NAVCHETNA
In the year 2008-09, Chrysalis (then, EZ Vidya) initiated Navchetna, a Participatory Action Research to improve teaching-learning practices in schools. This research was supported by Wipro Applying Thought in Schools and involved 5 partner schools that used the Chrysalis Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Program in their schools.

Teachers in the participating schools worked closely with researchers of Chrysalis, to understand the effectiveness of the Chrysalis ICT Program. The Chrysalis Approach TM was refined as an important outcome of this study, and was further tested for the first time in other subjects including language, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
