Chrysalis (EZ Vidya Private Limited)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chrysalis AI mobile application, the Chrysalis website at www.chrysalis.world, and any related products and services (together, "our services") provided by EZ Vidya Private Limited (CIN: U72200TN2001PTC46998), operating under the brand name Chrysalis ("Company", "We", "Us", "Chrysalis", or "Our").

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using our services, by creating an account, or by allowing a child in your care to use our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, available at www.chrysalis.world/privacy-policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Section 1: Acceptance

By using the Chrysalis AI mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy at https://www.chrysalis.world/privacy-policy

Section 2: Eligibility

Chrysalis AI is intended for use by parents and legal guardians on behalf of children aged 6 to 14. Users must be at least 18 years old to register a parent account. Children may use the app under the supervision and on behalf of a registered parent or guardian.

 

Section 3: Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Chrysalis AI offers auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Chrysalis Monthly: 1-month subscription, auto-renews monthly until cancelled

• Chrysalis Yearly: 1-year subscription, auto-renews yearly until cancelled

 

Free trial: new parent accounts receive a 7-day free trial when the first child profile is added. No payment is collected during the trial period.

Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

 

Managing or cancelling subscriptions: subscriptions can be managed and cancelled in your Apple App Store account settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android). Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

 

Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple and Google in accordance with their respective policies. Please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support directly for refund requests.

 

Price changes: if the subscription price changes, you will be notified by Apple or Google before the change takes effect. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

 

Section 4: Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information at registration and to keep this information updated.

 

Section 5: Acceptable use

You agree to use Chrysalis AI only for its intended educational purpose. You may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app

• Use the app in violation of any applicable law or regulation

• Share your account credentials with others

• Use the app in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services

 

Section 6: Content and intellectual property

All content within Chrysalis AI, including curriculum, exercises, illustrations, audio, and software, is owned by EZ Vidya Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes during the period of your active subscription or free trial.

 

Section 7: Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Chrysalis AI if you violate these Terms of Service. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from within the app.

 

Section 8: Disclaimer of warranties

Chrysalis AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

Section 9: Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EZ Vidya Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of Chrysalis AI.

 

Section 10: Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or your use of Chrysalis AI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, India.

 

Section 11: Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
